Bryan McDermott was selected as the 2019 US Youth Soccer South Region Volunteer of the Year. The Volunteer of the Year award honors those who are excellent role models for their community.
Bryan moved to Georgia as a young man and has been part of Fayette County Youth Soccer League for at least three decades. He serves his club in multiple roles: long‐time game scheduler, referee assignor, coach and referee.
In 2015, Bryan was honored as a Life Member of Georgia Soccer. He also served four years on the Georgia Soccer Board of Directors as Vice President‐Youth, but that is only a fraction of his service to Georgia Soccer.
He is the quintessential volunteer: capable, dependable and available. Whatever Georgia Soccer needs, Bryan is always willing to help.

Neil McNab was selected as the 2019 United States Youth Soccer (US Youth Soccer) South Region Administrator of the Year. The Administrator of the Year award honors the extraordinary accomplishments in administration over a career.
Neil coached at various youth programs throughout the U.S. from 2001 to 2004 and served as Assistant Director of Coaching with TYSA (Tucker Youth Soccer Association) from 2004 to 2008.
Neil joined Chiefs Futbol Club in June 2008 where he now serves as Executive Director. As a founding member of Chiefs FC and later Archer Youth Soccer, he has been instrumental in the growth of both programs. In 2018, Neil was selected as part of Georgia Soccer's Top 50 Coaches.
"Neil's vision for our club is one of positive coaching and supportive player development: players playing at the highest level that is appropriate for them while maintaining a level of fun that keeps the players engaged and wanting to return. He strives to make that part of our club culture every day."
Both Bryan and Neil have now also been nominated for the US Youth Soccer National award in this category which will be awarded at the US Youth Soccer Awards Gala in Baltimore, MD on January 18, 2020.
