Training & Workshops (US Soccer Connect) - 12pm - 1:30pm

Includes updates to the National Championship Series and State Cup; Risk Management and the Innovate to Grow Referee Grant progress from Georgia Soccer Staff members.

Sports Connect rep. Andrew Simpson will guide through topics include registration, scheduling & electronic rescheduling too, team communication tool, online invoice management, background check and risk management and new features available. A Q&A session will conclude the trainings.

For consideration at the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) members may submit proposed changes to the Georgia Soccer Bylaws and the Youth Rules and Regulations. The deadline for submission was December 12, 2022 at midnight.

The following positions will be presented for election at the Annual General Meeting. The deadline to submit a nomination is December 19, 2022 at midnight. Nominations for the following positions will be communicated to the membership 30 days prior to the AGM after the Nominations Committee has reviewed the nominations.

Nominations from the floor will not be permitted, except for vacancies that are created during the Annual General Meeting.
Voting Eligibility
Per GSSA Bylaw 8.1.6: It shall be the responsibility of each Affiliate to have in attendance at GSSA AGM, GSSA SAGM, and the Adult and Youth Council meetings, a minimum of one member to represent each of its Affiliate’s interests. Affiliate representation is mandatory at all meetings.
Per GSSA Bylaw 8.6.1 The State Registrar shall determine the number of players an affiliate has properly registered and for which they have submitted payment. In order to vote, ensure your club or league invoices are paid in full and your balance is zero. Click here to learn how to see your outstanding registration invoices (youth)
To receive full voting recognition, if a joint association, you must have two separate credentialed individuals participate. i.e. – no single username will be allowed to vote for more than one entity / group.
The Credentials report will be released prior to the AGM.
Voting Procedure
We will return to using voting fobs that will be collected by each club or league representative at registration.
If you do not see your club or league name listed, please refer to the Credentials Report to ensure your club or league has an eligible vote for the 2023 AGM. If your club or league has a "0" listed for Youth/General Council Vote, you do not have an eligible vote.
