Bert Leonard, GA Soccer ODP State and Region 3  coach as well the  Atlanta Silverbacks Assistant Coach/video coordinator has been invited  to the USA U15oys  National Team Camp  by head coach John Hackworth starting Saturday December 13 and ending the following Saturday December 20.

Bert will be responsible for filming training sessions and games and providing video analysis presentations for the staff and players.  Bert is no stranger to US Soccer. Bert worked closely with

Pia Sundhage when she was the head coach of the US Woman’s national team. 

He attended the Algarve Cup in 2009 and was invited to several national team camps and filmed the USA vs. China match played at the former Atlanta Beat stadium.   Bert also worked with the US Soccer Development Academy teams providing video analysis presentations for the US Soccer technical advisors and he worked with Thomas Rongen  when he was the U20 US National team head coach. 

“ I am excited to work with John Hackworth and the staff during the u15 camp.   I offered John several video analysis presentations when he was the head coach of the U17 national team and we have been in touch during his tenure at the Philadelphia Union.   I think the timing could not be better as US Soccer has released new initiatives to use advanced technology for coaching education and continues to provide video analysis technology for players and coaches . I am excited to be a part of the U15 camp and the opportunity to work closely with John Hackworth and staff.”
