ATLANTA, GA. March 26, 2021. The Georgia Premier League (G.P.L) spring season is underway. 12U Pre GPL, 13U, and 14U Girls and Boys teams from across the state compete for a place in the National League in 2021.
The league’s inaugural season started with the 13U age group and an 11 game Fall season; 12 teams playing each other once with the plan to increase that across all divisions for both boys and girls, in a home/away format, while providing the feeder/pathway into national-level play.
12U Boys Pre GPL League Spring Start
The 12U Pre GPL league is underway with National League Conference places up for grabs and North Georgia Soccer Association (NGSA) has started strong.
“We are delighted with our U12 Pre GPL NGSA teams as they both play great soccer, and the level of U12 Pre GPL competition is great! Both of our NGSA U12 Dalton and NGSA U12 UMA LaGrange team are undefeated in 2021. Our NGSA U12 Dalton team Coach Angel Castrejon and we beat Columbus in a tight game (1-0) and Ga Storm (3-1). Coach Jo Howoon and our U12 NGSA team beat MAYS Buckhead (4-0), All In (4-1), and MOBA (5-2)”. Coach Kerem Daser, NGSA.
13U Boys
KSA 08 Pro Profile, All in FC Sugar Hill 09 Blue, and DDYSC 08 Wolves Elite are early leaders each with 3 wins from 4. Both All in FC Sugar Hill 09 Blue and DDYSC 08 Wolves are competing in State Cup in May 2021 giving themselves several opportunities to reach the National Championship Series.
14U Boys
The 14U boys will be a hotly contested league. LSA 07B Navy started the season with 20 points already accumulated. Followed closely by NGSA 2007 Dalton Elite (15pts), Atlanta City B14U (15pts), and Augusta Arsenal 07 Gold & Athens United 07 Boys Gold with 12 points.
12U Girls Pre GPL League
A good start made by teams from Macon SC 2009 Girls & Richmond Hill Soccer 2009’s who are 1 and 2 in the league respectively after the first few rounds of games.

Our 09 Girls have had the opportunity this year to be a part of the U12 Pre-GPL League and it has been a fantastic experience for the players, coaches, parents and club. The games have all be competitive and exciting which ultimately benefits the players and team. Our 09 Girls know they much be prepared and ready to compete each week and they have put in the work necessary to have some success. 13U Girls
AFC Lightning 08G Gold, Macon Soccer Club 2008 Elite & FC Sudamerica 08G Gold all with undefeated starts to the season. Setting up games on April 25th (Fc Sudamerica vs Lightning) and May 1 (Macon vs AFC Lightning) and Macon vs FC Sudamerica April 3. Leading scorer Sophie Martos (AFC Lightning) leading the way with 8 seasons so far.
