The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Advanced Referee Recertification Course

Registration for advanced recertification courses is available in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center (LC). If you have not already done so, follow directions on the Grassroots Referee Recertification page for creating a profile in the Learning Center as well as completing SafeSport training.

You must register and pay for each course for which you are currently licensed and wish to recertify in 2020.

Do NOT register for a course for which you do not have a license.

As an alternative to searching for a course in the LC, click on the hyperlinks below for each course once you have created your profile.

  • Grassroots Referee (registration is now closed - email SRA for approval)
    • Optional course for Grade 7 & 8 referees recertifying for 2020
    • Only register for this course if you are a current 2019 Grade 8 or Grade 7 referee
    • Attendance will be capped to the first 140 referees who register
  • Assignor
    • Optional for assignors that wish to attend

Attendance for the below licenses is mandatory:

Register ONLY for those courses for which you have a current license. If you have multiple licenses, you must register for each of them individually. For some, that may be up to four courses.

If you have more than one license, do not repeat identical assignments (Safe & Healthy Playing Environments, Quizzes, etc.). U.S. Soccer is working to correct the issue so that these assignments will transfer to other courses once they are completed.

If you were unable to attend the August 4th clinic, and wish to recertify with any of the above six licenses, you must receive written permission via email from the SRA for an excused attendance. Regardless, you must still utilize the above courses to process your registration even if you will not physically be in attendance.
