The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Request to Host a Referee Course

Fill out this Referee Course Request Form if you are an assignor or site host and would like to request to host an entry referee course, in-service training, or Referee Mentor course for your league or club. In-service training may be classroom, field training or a combination of both.

Entry level courses are four (4) hour Field Training Events (FTE), and one (1) hour administrative session for a total of five (5) hours.

Local clubs, leagues, and assignors are responsible for marketing and advertising courses to recruit new referees. Entry referee courses must have a minimum of 12 referee candidates registered in the Learning Center (LC) course within 72 hours of the scheduled course date, or the course may be cancelled.

Mandatory Requirements for Hosting a Course

    • A full-size field is a suitable alternate.
  • A suitable classroom to conduct the one (1) hour administrative session.
    • Alternatively, an outside pavilion with shade large enough for the entire course may also be used.
  • Open and operational restrooms on site.
  • A safe indoor structure for inclement weather.
  • Sufficient parking on site.
  • Venue contact, if different from assignor, must be on site to unlock the facility 45 minutes before the course is to begin.
