The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Instructor and Assessor Recertification

Registration for Instructors, Assessors and Regional Referees is available in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center (LC).

If you have not already done so, follow directions on the Grassroots Referee Recertification page for how to create a profile in the Learning Center. Make sure your lifetime license history migrates to your new profile.

You must register and pay for each course for which you are currently licensed and wish to recertify in 2020. You must also complete the NCSI Background Check and SafeSport training, both available in the Learning Center. Click Courses, Available Courses and then Supplemental Courses (on the left-hand side). To check the status of your background check or SafeSport, log in to the Learning Center and go to your profile.

Do not register for a course for which you do not already have a license.

As an alternative to searching for a course in the Learning Center, click the hyperlinks below for each course once you have created your profile.

Register only for those courses for which you have a current license. If you have multiple licenses, you must register for each of them individually. For some, that may be up to four courses.

Click on the Assignments tab once registered for your respective course and complete all assignments. They will be marked Satisfactory and green if completed.

If you have more than one license, you do not need to repeat SafeSport training or the Introductory to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments. The quiz needs to be completed within each course.
