The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Instructor and Assessor Recertification

2021 Registration for Instructors, Assessors and Emeritus Referees is available in the U.S. Soccer Learning Center (LC).

Registration for all of the below courses will permanently close on Monday, November 30th, 2020. All assignments must be completed by Thursday, December 10th, 2020. No extensions.

You must register and pay for each course for which you are currently licensed and wish to recertify in 2021. Refer to the Grassroots Referee Recertification page for questions regarding creating a LC profile, SafeSport, or the Background Screening.

Do not register for a course for which you do not already have a license.

As an alternative to searching for a course in the Learning Center, click the hyperlinks below for each course once you have created your LC profile:

Register only for those courses for which you have a current license. If you have multiple licenses, you must register for each of them individually. For some, that may be up to four courses.

Click on the Assignments tab once registered for your respective course and complete all assignments. They will be marked Satisfactory and green if completed.

If you have more than one license, you do not need to repeat SafeSport, Introductory to Safe and Healthy Playing Environments, or the LOTG Refresher. These are universal assignments. If they are not showing as satisfactory, but are current in your profile, contact both Anne Wright and U.S. Soccer at the emails below. The quiz needs to be completed within each course.

Email Anne Wright (awright@georgiasoccer.org) for general questions about the Georgia Soccer Referee Program, or any assistance with registration.

Also email (CC) U.S. Soccer (referee@ussoccer.org) for general questions about the Learning Center, issues creating your account, background checks, etc.
