Women's Mentoring

The State Referee Committee will establish a program that recruits, retains, develops, and supports female referees of all ages in Georgia. Our goal is to create a solid foundation for a program that will pave the way for female officials.

First and foremost, we are referees. In addition to making sure that our training, standards, and goals are aligned with the U.S. Soccer Referee Program, I would like to provide additional resources and mentoring for female referees. We are here for you! If you need anything: from preparing for your very first match to discussing a path to earn your National Referee badge, please reach out. I am working on getting higher level female officials, assignors, and mentors across the state who are willing and able to help you on your journey as a referee.

This program is new. We need your input to help make it a success. If you would like a place to talk about issues or share experiences and ideas, we can create a forum just for that. Let me know what suggestions you have that may help you, and others, in your referee journey.
