The Southern Regional Premier League (SRPL) is seeking qualified candidates to assist the Premier League Commissioner in the planning and execution of the league.
The candidates should have a general working knowledge of league operations and good communication skills. Previous experience in the use of GotSoccer would be helpful but is not required.
Estimated Time Requirements - Time required to perform the necessary tasks will vary from one to two hours a week during down time and as much as ten to twenty hours a week during peak season of play. The time requirement will be spread over a twelve month period and is estimated to 450 hours.
Duties - Help with scheduling, payment info, basic email questions, Got Soccer questions. Also assist with the logistics of obtaining agreements with host sites. During the playing season the assistants will be in charge of collecting game cards weekly, red card tracking, following up on yellow card accumulation (coaches are responsible for keeping track), alerting the Commissioner of all red cards to review suspensions, freezing and unfreezing the roster, and passing on email that requires the Commissioner’s attention, along with collecting weekly web site information about teams, goal scorers, etc. The assistant may also be required to attend US Youth Soccer Workshop and Region III Fall Meeting.
This assistant could also fill the role of a site coordinator at one of the sites each week during the season.
Pay - Negotiable based on experience.
