Some amazing young Georgia Soccer players had the change to meet U.S. Soccer legend Abby Wambach on Saturday at the Atlanta Eagles Sports Center. These great young players spent months raising funds for Georgia Soccer's Mini Pitch Program* for the chance to meet Abby. 

These lucky players got to meet Abby one on one, get autographs, and participate in exclusive clinics with one of the greatest womens players of all time. The day ended with Abby playing some great games with and against all of the fundraisers.

*Georgia Soccer’s Mini-pitch program converts underutilized vacant space in underserved communities into a synthetic turf mini-soccer pitch to provide a safe place to play; and  through free play, pick-up soccer, reduce childhood obesity and juvenile delinquency levels to improve the health and well-being of youth in Georgia.
