U.S. Soccer National Grassroots Courses and Revised National D License Course

U.S. Soccer has replaced the National F and the National E courses with new Grassroots courses aimed specifically at the grassroots game models 4v4, 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11.  Each game model has two courses for a total of 8 grassroots courses.  For example, the 4v4 game model has an in-person 4 hour-long 4v4 course and an online 2 hour 4v4 course.

US Soccer has also revamped the National D License course to align it with the philosophy and curriculum of the Grassroots and National C, B and A courses.

Registration for the Grassroots and the D courses will be done through the Digital Coaching Center (DCC) as explained below.

Digital Coaching Center (DCC) Platform

US Soccer has launched a Digital Coaching Center, a comprehensive resource center for coaches at all license levels. The DCC allows coaches to create a personal profile, register for courses, communicate with technical staff, take part in online courses, create session plans, access an archive of U.S. Soccer training sessions and much more. Coaches who take courses through the DCC will be granted access to the DCC for one year.

All coaches must start their education by creating a coach's profile within the DCC platform and taking the free online Introduction to Coaching course (30 minutes.) After that, they are eligible to work their way through the courses, beginning with the Grassroots courses.
