The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Program Overview

The Olympic Development Program (ODP) was created by U.S. Soccer for two purposes:

  • to identify national team players at the youth level
  • to provide development opportunities for these potential national team players

The core principles to identify and develop for the national team, have not changed over the years but with improved opportunities for playing collegiate soccer and earning athletic scholarships as college coaches consider a player's participation in ODP an indicator of talent and ambition.
