The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Georgia Soccer Referee Academy

What is the Referee Academy?

The Georgia Soccer Referee Academy exists to provide an opportunity for those referees who desire to be leaders in their local grassroots referee programs and be a part of a group of like-minded referees who strive to become better referees both on and off the field.

Referee Academy members and candidates will have the opportunity to participate in additional training, referee academies at tournaments, field training events, and online educational events that stress mastery of the Laws of the Game.  They will also be put in contact with Regional and National Referees for mentorship and guidance.

These training and educational opportunities are provided at no cost to Referee Academy members.

When reviewing potential candidates for various events such as USYS Southern Regionals or USASA Amateur Regionals, the State Referee Committee will give priority of invitations to active members of the Referee Academy prior to inviting other certified referees.
