The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Georgia Soccer Referee Academy

Minimum Requirements

  • Certified referee for a minimum of two (2) years
  • Assessment
  • Instruction
    • Qualifying instruction would include but is not limited to:
      • ​August 4th, 2019 clinic at Northgate, DA Events, Youth Regionals, or Amateur National Cup. Other events where instruction is provided may be approved at the discretion of the SRA.
  • Fitness Test
    • FIFA Women's Referee Category 3
    • Fitness test results will be accepted dating back to January 2019
    • Refer to the Fitness Testing page to register for a fitness test
  • Game Log
    • Minimum 50 matches lifetime
    • 30 center referee, 20 assistant referee
    • 70 minute minimum, 11v11 matches only
    • Submit your game log to the SYRA, Chris Heintzman.

All applicants and members of the Referee Academy will be expected to conduct themselves honorably and professionally on and off the field at all times. Adherence to the U.S. Soccer Code of Ethics is compulsory.

Requirements do not have to be met in order to fill out an application. If you are interested and will likely meet these requirements in the next 12 months, please fill out an application.
