HomeTRANSFERRING OR TRAVELING OUT-OF-STATE

TRANSFERRING OR TRAVELING OUT-OF-STATE

As a U.S. Soccer referee, you are registered to officiate anywhere in the country and work for other U.S. Soccer-affiliated leagues, tournaments and assignors. Referees should register in the state where they work the majority of their games.

Current Georgia Referee transferring to another state:

If you need to transfer your registration to another state, please contact Georgia Soccer Referee Operations Coordinator Anne Wright. You will need to provide Anne with the state you wish to transfer to and the contact information for that state’s SRA.

Click here to view the U.S. Soccer Contact List

Log in to the Learning Center, hover above your name (top right) and click on your profile. Update your address, and under Manage My Relationships, add the State Referee Committee of the state to which you are moving.

Transferring from another state to Georgia, or temporarily working games or tournaments in Georgia:

If you would like to transfer your current registration to Georgia, please have your current SRA contact both the Georgia SRA  and Anne Wright to confirm the following details:

  • Currently registered and with what licenses
  • In good standing (no outstanding Ethics & Grievance charges or suspensions)
  • Currently participating in your respective state’s or U.S. Soccer’s background check service

Log in to the Learning Center, hover above your name (top right) and click on your profile. Update your address, and under Manage My Relationships, add the Georgia State Referee Committee.

If the state you are transferring from does not use the Learning Center for registration, follow the directions on the Grassroots Recertification page to create a Learning Center profile. If done correctly, your license will be visible in your profile.

Out of state events or tournaments:

If you are a current Georgia referee traveling to an out-of-state tournament or event, and they require confirmation of the details below please contact only Anne Wright.

  • Currently registered and current license
  • In good standing (no outstanding Ethics & Grievance charges or suspensions)
  • Background check passed

Email Anne Wright for general questions about the Georgia Soccer Referee Program.
