Hall of Fame Scholarship ($1,000)
The Hall of Fame Scholarship is given on behalf of the members of the Georgia Soccer Hall of Fame. These individuals represent the very best that Georgia has to offer the world of soccer. The Georgia Soccer Hall of Fame members have significant and lifetime achievements for soccer in Georgia to their name, and this scholarship is given to the next generation in their honor.
Criteria: All applicants must be high school seniors currently participating in Georgia Soccer (2018-2019) as a player, referee, coach, volunteer, etc. They must show plans to attend a four-year college/university beginning in Fall 2019 and to play soccer at that school. Applicants should also have both an exemplary academic and extra-curricular resumé.

Board of Directors' Scholarship (2 x $1,000)
The Georgia Soccer Board of Directors' awards this scholarship to high schools seniors who demonstrate excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
Criteria: All applicants must be high school seniors currently participating in Georgia Soccer (2018-2019) as a player, referee, coach, volunteer, etc. and have plans to attend a four-year college/university beginning in Fall 2019. Applicants should also have both an exemplary academic and extra-curricular resumé.

Rich Freeman Scholarship (2 x $1,000)
The Rich Freeman Scholarship is awarded in memory of former Georgia Soccer staff member Rich Freeman. As our Senior Member Administrator, Rich was the technical expert, chaplain and the one everyone came to the office to see. He was never too busy to help, and no job was ever too big or too small.
Criteria: All applicants must be high school seniors currently participating in Georgia Soccer (2018-2019) as a player, referee, coach, volunteer, etc., and have plans to attend a two-year or four-year college/university beginning in Fall 2019. Applicants should have a minimum 2.5 GPA and a strong record of community service.

Andy Stone Scholarship (4 x $1,500)
The Andy Stone Scholarship was set up by the US Youth Soccer South Region to honor the dedication and commitment of Andy Stone, former South Region Director. Andy passed away suddenly in 1998.
Criteria: Any active member of the South Region may apply for the scholarship as per the guidelines in the application. US Youth Soccer is offering four students the chance to win the Andy Stone Scholarship, each valued at $1,500.

William J. "Billy" Goaziou Scholarships
The memory of Goaziou, who was involved in soccer for more than 25 years as a coach and administrator, is honored with two one-year scholarships in the amount of $1,250 to be awarded to one male and one female attending a post-secondary education institution for the first time in fall 2019. The scholarships are awarded based on community service and giving back to the game of soccer.
Criteria: Seniors in high school when the application is submitted. Those students who are currently enrolled in a PSEI (or the equivalent) as a senior in high school will not be excluded from consideration. Participation (as a player) in a US Youth Soccer program during the applicant’s junior or senior year. Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in a college prep curriculum. Demonstrate active service to his or her community and a strong desire to give back to the game of soccer.
