Georgia Soccer Partners with The Collective Global to Launch Transformational Organizational Review and Strategic Planning Initiative
ATLANTA, GA — May 28, 2025 — Georgia Soccer (GSSA), the state’s premier organization for youth and adult soccer development, is proud to announce a new partnership with The Collective Global (TCG) to conduct a comprehensive, top-to-bottom organizational review and strategic planning process. This initiative will guide the future growth, governance, and impact of soccer across the state of Georgia.
This effort represents a pivotal step in Georgia Soccer’s commitment to evolve as a modern, inclusive, and forward-looking association. In collaboration with The Collective Global—a strategy, organizational effectiveness, and transformation firm known for its work with many soccer associations and clubs across the landscape—GSSA will undertake a deep internal inspection of its structures, systems, culture, and service delivery, laying the foundation for a clear and actionable long-term vision.
“This is about more than just a strategic plan—it’s a full organizational reflection” said Brad Stinson, CEO of The Collective Global. “We’re honored to support Georgia Soccer as it boldly examines where it is today, identifies opportunities for innovation and alignment, and builds a shared vision for the future with its members.”
The review and planning process will explore core focus areas, including grassroots development, coach and referee education, governance and operations, competition structures, equity and inclusion, and member experience. As part of the process, GSSA will seek input from key stakeholders across the Georgia soccer community to inform the direction of the plan and ensure the organization reflects the evolving needs of its members.
“This is a pivotal moment for Georgia Soccer,” said Neil McNab, President of the GSSA Board. “We’re committed to creating a future that is shaped by insight, innovation, and the voices of those we serve.”
Jim Walker, Executive Director of Georgia Soccer, added: “Partnering with The Collective Global marks the beginning of a transformative journey. The strategic vision we co-create will ensure Georgia Soccer remains a vital, adaptive, and high-performing organization for years to come.”
Initial engagement and discovery efforts will begin this summer, with the final plan and organizational roadmap expected in early 2026.
