We’re celebrating National Women and Girls in Sport Day by highlighting women in Georgia contributing to Soccer. Learn more about their story below.

Atlanta United

A former Soccer professional Leigh is now the Director – Youth Development and ATL UTD DEI Council Chair.

Georgia Amateur Women’s Soccer Association (GAWSA)

Michelle is President of GAWSA, the all female soccer league with over 350 players.

Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA)

Cristina is Director of Tournament & Events for GSSA. This spring she’s working on SheBelieves programming hosted here in Atlanta, GA.

Awesome Kids

Sam is a US Soccer Coach Educator and Founder of Awesome Kids. She is Director of Bluesprings Soccer Club

USSF Coach Educator & Head of Soccer – Paideia School

Brittany is a former College Coach in D1, 2 and Junior College now Head of Soccer at Paideia Soccer, Atlanta, GA.

US Adult Association Board of Directors & CEO of Cobb Amateur Soccer League

Karen is CEO at Cobb Amateur Soccer League Inc. a 1,000 player strong league in Atlanta.
